Yesterday Robert Butler Jr., a senior, went into his Millard South High School in Omaha, Nebraska and opened fire on his assistant principal who now is dead, and his principal who is now in crucial condition. And Robert Butler? After the shooting Butler drove a mile off campus and took his own life.
He posted his dying note on Facebook.
"Everybody that used to know me, I'm sorry but Omaha changed me and f**ked me up. And the school I attend is even worse, You're gonna here about the evil s**t I did but that f**king school drove me to this. I want you guys to remember me for who I was before this. I greatly affected the lives of the families ruined but I'm sorry. Goodbye"
Butler had transfer from Lincoln Southwest High School in Lincoln, Nebraska in October.
Your probably thinking why would I post this?
But I knew this guy, and he was one of my mom's favorite 6th grade students at Scott Middle School.
School shootings are sad, but its 10x worse when you know the shooter.
This could of been prevented.
Robert Butler will always be remembered for who he used to be.
