Turkish basketball club Beskitas acquired 11-time NBA All-Star Allen Iverson late last month, as he finally arrived in Istanbul on Monday. There were thousands that attended the signing event, including members of the media, to celebrate the new Beskitas acquisition. Iverson appeared before his new fans to give thanks and he seemed to be pretty happy. Iveson’s new deal is for 2 years and worth $4 million dollars, with the second year having an opt-out clause should a NBA return be in the future. It was clear that he is wearing the brand new Reebok Zig Slash basketball sneaker this season, so the relationship with the brand is still maintained.
